About Tek Repairs North East (NE)

My name is Nathan Clark I am the owner and main consultant at Tek Repairs NE. I have been working in the IT industry for over 10 years and have a strong background in IT Support and Repair. Expert knowledge of all versions of the Windows Operating System (XP, Vista, Windows 7, Window 8, WIndows 10 & Windows 11), Apple macOS and Chrome.


No Fix No Fee

If we cannot repair/fix your device problems we do not charge you. Our No-Fix-No-Fee policy means that if the technician does not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or effect the repair, then no charge is made to the customer. If the technician is able to resolve the problem or effect the repair, but is only prevented from doing so by the customer requesting the technician not to proceed with the work, then the customer is charged on the diagnostic fee of a minimum of £5.


We also support IT support in Sunderland, Washington, Gateshead, Newcastle, Durham, Peterlee and North/South Shields.

Additional Support can be provided to Hartlepool (£25.00 mileage fee) and Middlesbrough (£30.00 mileage fee).


We offer repair services for Desktop & Laptop PC's, Apple Mac's and Satnav's.

We can also provide a Custom Built Computer Service.

These Services includes things such as Broken Screen Replacement, Keyboard Replacement, Charging Port/Socket Repair and Replacement.

Set Fee Pricing

We do NOT charge by the hour and have a fixed fee system (minus and hardware or software needed to complete the repair). This means you know what the cost will be upfront and are not anxiously looking at the clock watching the money tick away.

At Tek Repairs NE, we want you to be happy that you are getting a service that you are happy paying for, all of the jobs we undertake have set pricing for peace of mind, so that there is no surprise bill on completion of our work.The only time we charge an hourly rate is when work is carried out remotely or when is carried out at a customer's premises and not back in our workshop. This is charged at a minimum of £20.00 per hour.


Warranty Period

- Laptop & Desktop Computer repairs include a minimum of 14 days guarantee from the date collected/returned.

- Refurbished Laptop & Desktop PC sales include a minimum of 30 days guarantee from the date purchased.

- New Custom PC Builds include a 12 month guarantee from the date purchased.

- Used Hardware includes either 14 or 30 days warranty.

- New Hardware includes from 30 days to 5 years warranty.


Remote Support Repair Exceptions

There are only a few scenarios where a remote repair would not be available:

  1. No network connectivity or internet connection, the system we use makes it necessary for us to be able to connect to your computer remotely via the internet, to be to offer our remote support services.
  2. Startup Problems, if you are unable to boot your machine to your desktop due to hardware problems, such as Memory or Hard Drive failure or a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)
  3. Certain Network providers block the use of remote support software


Payment Options

  • Home Users Please pay on completion of your repair. Your device will not be released back to you until full payment is received in advance or on collection/delivery of your device.
  • Business Users - Please pay on completion of your repair/call out.
  • Payment methods supported: Cash, Bank Transfer, Card Payments, PayPal, Invoice.


We only keep a limited supply of parts in stock. However we can usually get them the next working day if ordered before 3pm.

The majority of all repairs, upgrades and system builds are done here in Sunderland. You can speak directly to the Technician who will be working on your device.
